Game seems nice but after the first fight I can't click the Acquire button. I just get a Not now, Chief! message. Hope you fix the bug soon,
The pace of the game is insanely slow and there's virtually nothing to do after playing for 15 minutes. It's more than pay to win its pay to play.
Great game with some drawbacks. So far (2 weeks of play) no ads. If your looking for a phone version of some old RTS games this could scratch your itch. The beginning is a little slow while you mostly wait for research vials. I think the game could utilize ads as an option for the premium currency. Watch an ad get 10 premium currency, max five ads per day. That could help with the slow early game and the useless premium currency. Useless because it costs so much to get something done with it.
Can you add a day and night cycle, that you can turn off and on? Your game is really good I got it around like March or April. So you updated it and it's easier but there is so much more lag that I'm getting an error and then freezes my whole device.
Even after buying gems to buy more land space, I still cant build everything, even though I only have 2 of 4 stone masons, 4 of 8 rural farms and 4 of 6 domestic farms. Feeling ripped off.
I like it a lot! As you progress it becomes more difficult to expand your territory and build stuff, and it kinda turns into a ptw game. But I have been playing without spending a cent, and it is pretty fun!
Fun at first but the repetitive nature of resource collection eventually became too tiresome. Visually beautiful, but that's not enough to maintain interest. Not sure the balance between effort and reward is quite right. Treasure Hunts, for instance, will cost material to rebuild lost troops but the random reward is often pitiful. It was plain that in order to complete (game still in development for additional more advanced cultures), it would take years.
This has to be with the worst game I have played regarding very unstable Internet.

Good game with good attention to detail. Completed the stone age and now the game tests me with my patience. But I would like to see day and night mode interface.. Not sure if the game has it already but would like to see it... Overall good game to kill my boring time. Thanks.
the game after a while is quite annoying because you will face always the same tasks and same issues. Can't really play with others or attack them, it's just single player, campaign mode. When you reach Egiptian empire, you can run another village but it's more or less the same as your main one.
I've been playing this game for less than 24 hours and I'm really enjoying it. Thankfully it showed up in Google Play when I was downloading another game. No regrets!
Finally a game to play! No stupid pay to play, pay to win, PVP with money whales or adds every minute. Good job devs! Good to see there still are people who make good games and not just cash grabs! Best new game of the year without a doubt!Awesome game I love it, perfect idle casual strategy game, I love AOE, and this is pretty good for a mobile device, only thing is to little gem rewards, other than that awesome game, I'd like to add that I've not recieved my gems for the last 5 treasures I found.
It's really a fun gane to play, I wish the battles were more complicated to make space for tactics and i wish if there was an option to attack other players and cultures
Fun premise, good graphics, but the game is SLOW. Wait to get food. Then wait to get money. Then wait to get troops. Then battle. Now do that 4-5 more times. Then wait to get an expansion. Only the expansions are tiny.So you do it all over again. Took me over a month just to get from level 2 (Bronze Age) to 3 (Minoan Era). It all adds up to an experience that can't hold your attention.
Same old same old. Nothing new to see. Seems like a Civ knockoff without real time exploring. Also, a long time waiting game. All upgrades, house, fields, civilization level, take time, quest completed and jade stones. there is a bit of evony mixed in here too, if you've ever played. you buy jade or wait 20k years to get some after the1st age. dissapointed, looked like it could have been different. I've started play ling recently and can't even get to bronze age. Issues I'm running into is that it taking way to long to refresh incidents (and you have no idea how long you have to wait). And your troops die easily in battle. Also I don't know why you have to wait to complete all the tasks even though I completed all of the reseach to advance to next level (Bronze Age). The wait it too long and I'm loosing interest...
Clean and non Intrusive UI. Pleasant to look at and spend time in. A relaxing city builder. But HALF Of EVERYTHING is behind a paywall. GEMS this GEMS that, GEMS everything, so annoying.
Always Says network is slow even though it isnt and lose progress everytime because of it
Overall good game to play but unfortunately I can't play on my phone without it saying can't load wait or reload. It's alittle frustrating. Please could you sort this glitch out so I can get back to gaming much appreciated.

reminds me exactly of age or Forge of Empires.. but at least in foe it doesn't take 15 days just to try to get to the next stage after stone-age everything is slow definitely pay-to-win game!😵 I understand they're both, 💡Innogames it's the GmbH I believe that is it definitely money and adds driven but you got to do what you got to do to get your game developed right? Believe you me I play different games every single day and wish I was an actual critic.

So far not bad. Very similar to FoE but I like this game. Only started today so I have not had chance to hit th glitches yet.
Fun for the most. However you get more buildings than you have land so you can't place everything down unless you either unlock more land (hard to do) or pay. Which I don't really like.
Tge game is full with bugs. When trade - when you try to accept a trade offer but is no longer available you get error and have to reload the game. Sometimes when click n incident to slove it you get error and again reload. When collecting resources some of the imgs are missing and you see white square. When you have 9 Research points and have 5 min to the 10th, earn some, go above 10 and then use some go below 10 the timers starts again from 60 min.
fun little game. Saw some other reviews complaining about losing armies or not having enough workers...they must be impatient people or no planning skills. fight one battle then rebuild, simple
Better than ever. I really like it more with evey update. I'm playing this for 5 months now and this is the best iteration of these kinds of games. There are some downsides, unfortunately in the most interesting parts; for example, upgrading a wonder from lvl 6 to 7 might need more than 3or400 points, but it gets you like 0.8 % boost, which is totally insignificant comparing to the amount you pay for points, money, food, etc. And also the overabundance of the money which you can't even exchange

its a relaxing game but progression is slow.
This game started well, is quite absorbing but for the last week it has been constant server errors making the game unplayable. Very frustrating.
I have never searched out to make a review. This game has everything I love in strategic games. So many are pay to win, but this game is patience or pay. Money can only get you so far. I think I'm in love, been non-stop for days.
Game is very linear. Progression is very slow.
The game is very good. There is only one big problem and that is that the Persian emperor is not in it. One of the most important empires in history! But his place in this game is empty. Add this great empire to the game. Thanks 🙏
Cool game.This game is better than foe. Just one problem though can u decrease the cost of unlocking technology it is hard unlocking sometimes.
very nice good. I love the grafies and Battelle arrangements and concepts but I am giving it 4stars because, I hv problem with getting more gems, is too expensive and difficult to come bye pls do something about that. or give us a chance where we can get more gems in other to build better luxurious houses, farms and cultures. Thanks.Fun game, a lot of "spinning plates". One issue I have with the game is building space, I literally can't build all the buildings I have access to. I think the progression of land space is too slow which causes not just no ability to optimize culture sites and literally have 6 items I don't have room to place. I'm almost done with Egypt so have a solid understanding of game mechanics at this point.

I really like to support developers and i know InnoGames from a long time considering that I have been playing Tribal Wars and Grepolis for a long time. But this game is a bad coppy of civilization the original game. Im really sorry to write this but it is the truth.
Another game that could be good but they use time to try and get hordes of money from you. How this has a 4.5 star review is beyond me, im guessing many fake reviews. Just a cash grab. Dont play, find a real game.
I really enjoy this game. Like Age of Empires but you are not attacked. Instead you battle foes through the ages to gain land and generals. Strategize what you will build/produce. Can play using only game provided resources. Not too slow or arduous. Always something to do. Fun graphics and cooperative play with an Alliance. IMO, it is challenging, but not tomthe point of frustration. I appreciate games that can be played without spending money.
Pretty good own pace game with no irritating raiders to worry about. Just a tiny thing, please make event buildings sellable. It takes up space and we can't upgrade it.
I've played this style of game before and now I remember why I stopped. A couple of hours into it and you are waiting. From my experience there is only more waiting. And more waiting and more waiting. I wanted to play the game, not wait. Not for me, but some may love it.
This is a clone of Forge of Empires, with a few differences. The main difference is that you need to assign workers to your production buildings, and the houses that the game allows you to build do not offer enough workers. So you've built and upgraded production buildings, but you can't use them. UNLESS you pay for premium houses. Then you can use your other buildings. It's up to you if you want to set your money on fire, I personally don't.Download this game if you love waiting for upwards of 6 hours to be able to do literally anything to progress. Disgusting style of game, you either wait for gold in order to get further in the game, or you pay for one of their ripoff deals to get enough gold for one thing. All of this, and I'm barely into the second age, if that. Save yourself the space and don't download.
Honestly one of my favorite games. Scratched an itch I was looking forward. It's very grindy and you do have to login multiple times a day, which isn't an issue for me, but there's no ads which is a major plus to me.
It's design is certainly nice but being stuck behind timers isn't much of a game is it.The game is great but it's really hard to get gems and easy to spend them,, they also cost a lot of money to purchase

Great graphics, it's a long strategic game so you need to be patient to play. Also it would be nice if you gave out a bit more diamonds, rubies or whatever you call them...
A bit linear at first but otherwise a very polished game with some lovely eye-candy. Relaxing and fun.No ads and free to play (with an option for in-game purchases). This is definitely one of the best games available from the app store and definitely the best looking.
Game works well graphics are good but don't think it will bring you hours of fun. You build for about an hour then the waiting game starts so you can play in 2 times a day for about 5 Min then the money is finished

I have greatly enjoyed playing Rise of Culture as being a game that can be played by any one at any rate, and with out money invested.
Really awesome game and its fun for your friends, spouse and family to join on in. Its addicting!! Good luck but your not going to need it a middle game.
Game is fun but very slow. No easy way to build gold up fast. Needs some kind of raiding mechanic where you can fight for more resources then just the small campaign map. And waiting on farms and houses to produce. Also a world chat would be a nice addition. UPDATE.. Been playing for a bit, game progress is just to slow. Game gets boring fast. And every little things takes forever. The big road block is troops. It's a 30 minute wait everytime you heal.
